Today, May 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi launched an intensive campaign to call for donations in support of COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. Since the onset of the fourth wave, infections have become increasingly complex across 30 provinces and cities nationwide.
According to Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long, one of the fundamental and strategic approaches to preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic and returning life to normal is to ensure that all citizens have access to COVID-19 vaccines. Therefore, mobilizing all resources in society so that Vietnam can access vaccines as quickly as possible—and ensure the broadest possible access for the population—is among the most urgent and critical tasks.
Mr. Tran Huu Quan, Deputy General Director of Ngoc Diep Group, presented the donation to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi.
Joining hands with the nation in the spirit of “fighting the pandemic like fighting an enemy,” the leadership of Ngoc Diep Group decided to donate 10,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, valued at over VND 2 billion, to support the Party and the Government in combating the pandemic.
The contribution was officially handed over by Mr. Tran Huu Quan to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi.
